2 boxes of dimes, 1 roosie.
1 box of nickels, 2 wars and a 1918.

 

$500 bag of dimes off the counter, 1 1962 Roosie.

 

Today, not so much.

Random call to a semi-local BofA today. $140 in CWR halves. Pepe!!! Looking forward to my second box tomorrow. Hopefully better news then.

 

I've got three boxes of halves to pick up tomorrow. If they're all skunks, I will kill something/someone.

 

My box of halves this week coughed up 1x 40%, kinda the pattern with my halves boxes lately but it's better than getting skunked. I have another box to pick up tomorrow, fingers crossed

This week has been kinda slow, but I guess I prefer a slow trickle of coins to getting skunked. Here's hoping my weekend turns around!

Merc, I laughed so hard when I read your last comment. I can just see it now. "Man kills bank teller, says multitude of skunks pushed him over the edge." HAHA or "Mayor to launch investigation into mysterious deaths of skunks across city."

Gotta read that red book. I can't say for sure those aren't proofs, but I very highly doubt it. San Fran made business strikes those years. If they don't look like proofs, then they aren't proofs.

 

Called the bank to confirm my coins came in,was told by the manager that they were on the "back order", but I think they probably just forgot to order them. Oh well, means I will be picking up six boxes next week instead of four. Scouted some new banks in the area, was able to find one box of brinks halves and two boxes of dimes. All skunks. I have yet to pull any silver out of brinks boxes except one merc I found a few weeks ago. Did find a 2011 half, and a 1978s.

 

Today I did my routine. 2 boxes of dimes and I got 5 more roosies 4 of them were 64's and. 54. Also today I visited a new bank where I wanted to dump my dimes the teller was bagging the rolls and he tells me that I had to wait 4 to 6 weeks. For my money to clear and I couldn't cash out so I said no thanks and sorry for making you work while he was putting the coins back in the boxes I ask him for halves or ikes. And he said no but I have a silver quarter but its not too old. I said its okay ill take. It lol it is a 61 d. Can't beat face value. Next week ill have 6 boxes of halves

 

Man you think thats bad my first time i ever tryed roll hunting i got 7000 worth of halves about 3k one week 3k the next then another 1k then i quit.

I quit because out of all that I found one single 40% and a carved out kennedy "magicians coin"

14 boxes of coins with nothing, now THATS a skunk lol.

Its 6 months later and i am going to give it a 2nd shot. Got 2 boxes of kennedys and one box of quarters comming in a couple days. I better atleast get some nice BU state quarters lol.

Box of halves last week from a bank I had been skunked on so far and finally succes, 5 40ers. A little over half way through a box from a bank I've had decent luck from on halves and this box has been great. 17 40ers so far with 21 rolls left to go through. I just can't go through coins as fast as some as I search pennies, nickels and dimes at the same time and my dump locations are limited. I average about a box of halves a week. Wish me luck on the last rolls from this one. Hope to hit 20 as I have one roll in the box with an ender so only need 2 more from the remaining 20 rolls to hit 20 silvers out of a box. Would easily be my best so far.

forgot to bring my dump into work with me today. I usually dump and pick up two more boxes on friday at lunch. I'll have to decide if I want to pull savings and pick up today or wait till monday to get the coins.
