Nice Dwhiz. Like the elongated's from the fun show. I misplaced the ones I got there (along with a few that I pressed on the Jersey TPK)but I'll run across 'em sooner or later. :) Liking the new avatar too......

Couple more cents: I must be in a copper mood this month. Think the mark on the '50 S is enough of a distraction to get another one? I am sure I already know the answer since I'm asking, but just curious as to your thoughts.

After 3 years of collecting I have finally acquired a example of Probus & Constantine I. Both are VERY common.

What attracted me to them was mainly the price along with their condition for the price, so it was win win.

May not be much, but I got my first graded silver dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The number is 3610742-055 (NGC) if you want to see it because I don't have any pictures. It's a 1925 MS 63 and one of my favorite coins right now.

Well, the government's decision to stop making presidential dollars for general cirulation has really caused a snowball effect in my collecting... First, I decided that I was going to start collecting the proof sets for the dollar coins. Then I thought, if I'm going to collect the proof set I might as well get the entire proof set for that year instead of just the Presidential dollars. Now, I've come to the conclusion that if I was going to get the entire proof set for the year, I'd be better off to get the silver set. So, I'm starting with 2007's silver Proof set. More to follow...

Very cool, i especially love the silver proof quarters. I plan on ordering a few boxes of quarters myself from the bank to try and start a state quarter set, the designs on them can be really really nice.

Yeah, I've been trying to justify getting into the proof sets, and now the Presidential Dollars have given me a reason and a priority. I'm sure once I've got them up to date, I'll decide that i need to have all of the silver proof sets going back to 1999 when the state quarters started since I'll already have some of them in silver proof sets. Wow, sounds like I've already convinced myself... this could get ugly.
