i made the first of what i hope is many trades for a few of the 70 s small date pennies i found. i know they are not anything special, but i like looking at them. the proof franklins are really handsome coins. 1943 walking liberty ms64 rattler, 54 and 57 ms64 franklins, 59 and 62 franklin proof sets, and some bicentennial silver proofs and uncirc sets. i just like the cheesy bicentennial coins. i am getting another large load of my wifes late uncles collection tomorrow and will post pics after i inventory it all. lots of old gold indians and liberties. some foreign golds, others. thanks for all help the last couple of weeks guys. What's that blue envelope, top left corner, on top of the 1976 set?

Nice group riff. The Walker looks really nice. What kind of grades did you find in the 70-S roll?

the penny collector that came to trade with me said the majority are worthy of a 64 with a few possible 65s. he looked at them with his loupe. there are a couple with prints, but they would at last make 61 i would think.

i took 25 of them and put them away until my 4 year old turns 16. that will buy her a cheap first car.

should help keep the price stable as well. the guys on lincoln cent resource said 50 of these hitting the market at once could lower the value of the penny. makes sense. supply and demand and all.

I had hopes you might find a few that would go MS-66.
