I just received a couple more in the mail today. I will be trying to upgrade all of the early years in my album.

I've got a bunch of mercury dimes, but these are my favorites:



The first has a diamond chip stuck in it. On the back you can see a dent in the metal where the diamond is set. My grandma found it on the floor of a grocery store and picked it up for me. Even if it's not worth anything it's still a neat thing to have.

The second is a planchet clip mercury dime. :3

Is the diamond real? If so, it may be worth a little over melt

 

Dont collect these but my grandmother left me a coffee can full of earlier dates, no keys though. All circulated but since you guys are posting circulated early examples here are some enjoy.....:thumb:
