Awesome! I'm sorry for the distress you have gone through, and happy for you that there is a good ending to go along with your notes. Three cheers! Lucy
Was it totally the effort of the police or did your alerts come into play? Or were they discarded and found because they were so traceable? At any rate, this had to be one of your better days, for sure!
Guy's... I wish I could share the details but I choose not too. What I will say it that a couple of minors were involved and leave it at that. I learned a valuable lesson that day as well. Never make the same mistake twice!
This story is fairly recent and it may be concluded that "the investigation is ongoing" but viewers of this thread are going to want answers to two seemingly simple questions. 1. Were the notes removed from their holders or damaged in any way? 2. What led to the suspects being identified resulting in the notes being recovered so fast? If these two questions cannot be answered now then they should atleast be addressed in the future.
That is fair to ask and I will say the notes are not damaged in any way. As for the second question..well it was their Parents who discovered the notes and returned them..you see guys, my notes were mistaken for play money and lifted by 7yr olds. LOL It appears that these were not lifted from the fuel station I was at that day...that was a separate issue I encountered and simply assumed this to be the case..I put 2 and 2 together with the wrong suspicions. All the kids like pretending they are driving a 4x4 off road truck..I am to say this but that is what happened.
especially in the case where the police make a mistake...there is no reattaching someone's hand......that said the feeling of violation when you are robbed is horrible....our house in california was robbed when we were on vacation when i was 15 and (i know it doesn't really compare) my entire baseball card and comic book collection was among the stolen stuff and back then i loved those like i love my coins now and it felt terrible.....this is the reason the owner of my local coin shop will walk you out of his shop with his gun after you make any sizeable purchases.
Geez man, put those bad boys under lock and key. They kinda look like play money if you think about it Rickie.
I think those kids may be paper money collectors and not know it yet. They noticed something different about the notes and needed to have them. Glad to hear they are safe and sound.
It's the entitlement generation LOL Rickie is not allowed to own something better than those of his neighbors. Glad to hear you got those back buddy! Lesson learned... They sale pretty dang good car safes for guns, but you can put anything in those along with the gun of coarse I recommend a "Glock 40" with the sites on the side of the slide. Got to go gangster! $100 and I'll cut that butter sick for some Novaks. For a nominal fee I'll compensate the slide and barrel! Loud is better! lol
Glad to hear the situation turned out alright in the end! Must have been a brutal few days of suspense.
I am so sorry this happened... I will keep my eyes open as well... "THOU SHALL NOT STEAL"...too bad there are still people out there who do not believe in this... No morals...
