Not a coin but a medal. Can't help with value. It'll depend on what it's made of (silver or?), the size and weight etc..

Umm, English is not the only language in this world. The guy's name was Ioannes Paulus in Latin, John Paul in English, Giovanni Paolo in Italian ... and Joan Pau in Catalan for example.

The images are fine, size wise - if you move the cursor across the obverse or the reverse, you'll get an enlarged view of that side. Unfortunately I have not seen anything that looks like a designer's initials or a year ...
