On Roosevelt’s hair, large die. Bubble maybe? On reverse, I have seen this on another. A crack there is on lower but next to the leaves? Is that worn die? Reading on the “dime”…the dime seems to be ignored. So much on a little coin is interesting me anyway lol. Thanks for any input.
Oh his hair, he just slept funny and it wouldn’t comb right. Lol but the reverse does have a nice die crack. Either a planchet defect or something was on the die when it was struck and later fell off. It’s the crack on this coin.
Looks like a badly damaged die on the reverse. Die was exhausted from striking too many coins. Otherwise, looks pretty normal to me.
I can’t comment on your dime, but I was just reading about how neglected the dime is. No changes. No parties. No celebrations. I kind of like its stability. Happy New Year
Fatty tumor. I have one in the same place on the back of my head. Doctor told me not to worry about it. Maybe Franklin's will go away with time. LOL
