So Steve, basically this is just the smallest run of the 2003 series, or the smallest run of $10s in a LONG time? Seems to be the latter.

For a non-star, it's one of the lowest total printed range of any the modern era notes in any denomination.

 

I noticed that as well on the production table. Where did you happen to get your example from, and do they have any more?

So after months of not hearing from my teller, I get a call asking when I was going to pick up the notes she had for me. Apparently it was miscommunication because I was waiting for her to call and she was waiting for me to stop in. Anyway, I got all of these notes for face, so I am pretty excited! One thing is that she told me that she filled the ATM with a whole strap of brand new $20 stars and just assumed I wouldn't have wanted them. I told her next time, no matter the denomination, CALL ME!! :hail:

 

And a few more I got today. I normally don't look at serials, but there were a few in the bunch I thought were nice.

Yeah. Our government is really good when it comes to printing money. Not so good at paying down our national debt however. Sorry, couldn't resist.

My latest Fractional. Doc, I paid $36 bucks for this one. I had to stock the eBay hunting grounds for a few weeks to find this one with a good price:grade ratio.
I seen I boat go for much more at or less in grade, and of coarse I seen some in XF-CU for well over a bill.
Now to find a decent Stanton 50C.

 

OMG Clay, those are amazing. Love to have just one of those, but man those cost a ton! I can see those making it by the folks at the end of the cutting line that do the flip through inspection. Had to be good side up!

BTW: They still do it today LOL I watched a lady do it last year on the DC tour. See was talking to the guy that makes sure the money feeds into the carousel deal that stuff them in the brick bags. She flips through a stack in two seconds tops.
