Although this note is only VF, I purchased it for VG pricing. One more bid and I would have abandoned the chase. I will probably replace it with something in a XF or AU grade.
This is my newest — A full Federal Reserve District set of Series 1985 $1 FRN 4-Specimen Uncut Sheets.
Just got a series 1985 $10 from the teller at my bank while breaking a Benjamin. Sad to say I will have to spend it.
This note has been on my shopping list since the inception of the list! I received it in today's mail — Series 1935 A $1 Silver Certificate, North Africa War Emergency Note, FC Block, 12,000 printed:
I just received this low grade 1899 $5 "Chief" ONEPAPA. no pinholes just a little grim. I'm happy with it.
It was pretty busy that day. Lots of real nice notes for sale, mostly out of my budget. I was originally looking for a '23 SC. Most of them were the Woods/Tate variety or 65,66 & 67 in the common variety. The raw ones had problems. Lots of dealers from all over. Quite a few foreign paper money dealers.
My current lowball! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Jefferson Davis bought his first pair of drawers with this sucker!
Got this in the mail today. It's my second example, and they are getting harder to find. There's a brief history of the printing, highlighted in blue, at this website http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2003_d.html
