Technical 30 IMO, but I bet it came out of a 35 holder...

 

ha ha ha ... fat chance of my cracking out that 04-S for the Dansco...

here the coin that was going in the Dansco - but it received a reprieve...

Its in a VF 30 Holder - I thought it could have gone just as easily into a 35 as well.

The 04-S immediately above is in a VG 10 Holder. That was the look I first started to collect
back when you were just a twinkle in your Daddy's eyes. LOL

 

And maybe my dad was a twinkle in his dad's eye!

You guys gotta check out this listing on ebay. Talk about monster mid grade Barber halves. Wow! She will fetch a nice premium.

I agree. Nice coin. Have been tracking that one for a week.

 

Seems overpriced.
Is it just one of those harder to get then the price guides say?

 

Duke - Yes - its a seldom offered coin in a PCGS slab.
It's a nice Mid grade VF coin - with supply & demand
Issues . It's bound to go for crazy money ( at least for
the casual Barber Collector ) ; I paid $620 for a PCGS 20
this past December - and it's not for sale. I have another
also in a PCGS holder - graded AU 50 - which is coming
with me to Baltimore - and is for sale.

 

Picked up this one over the weekend.
