Not necessarily a roll find, but bought supplies at a coin show and got a shiny 1963 Jefferson nickel in change.

Merc - these halves have been awful lately. It was good to meet ya at the show the other day. I picked up 5 Maple Leaf 1 oz's for $39/each. Did you grab any mercs?

Nope, one of the dealers had a nice, raw '16 with FB, but was asking 64+ (slabbed) money for a raw coin... Wouldn't budge so I walked. Nothing slabbed that I liked either, so I ended up just purchasing a dansco for my circulation/melt bucket finds merc set and called it a day.

How long is your streak of "bad" boxes of halves right now? I've got 2 40%ers in my last 14 boxes, ouch.

2 more boxes of Loomis halves - skunk
    I don't like this trend
I have one more box to pick up tomorrow, but I may just wait and pick up a different box from another source.

I'm dumping this pick-up bank for now. 8 boxes in a row with nothing. There was a silver edge at about roll 90, I said "silver, no way". I was right, no way, someone had painted the edge silver. Dirty trick.

When you drop off a bag of coin to be counted and credited to your account, how long does it take generally for all the money to show up in your account and be available for withdrawal? Thanks!

It matters when you drop off the coin. Let's say they get deliveries on Wednesday every week and you drop off on Thursday, you'll wait a good week and a half because it will sit in the vault for 6 days before even being sent out. I asked which day the bags needs to be there and I bring it the day before. Then you are looking at 3-4 business days.

Yesterday: $325 in dimes, 2 silver Roosies.
    Today:
    Teller: "I don't think I have $100 in dimes."
Me: "Well, I'll take whatever you can spare!"
Teller, pulling the rolls shown below out of the drawer: "I can do $50."
    Me: "Sounds good!"

Haven't looked through the rest of what I picked up today, I'll post an update when I do!

haven't done much lately but I did manage to find 5 roosies yesterday from CWR and one silver quarter from $300 CWR. Then today I found 2 more roosies from $170 CWR and the teller said she had a bunch of $2 bills some lady brought in the other day. Picked those up, 46 of them are red seal ones, three of them are from 1928, three of them are star notes from 53 and the other 40 are mostly 1953 with 4 being from 63. Have to figure out what I wanna do with them now.

One more silver Roosie in the other $130. The rest of that plastic tube had near-uncirculated '65s, '66s, and '67s. Total for today: 18 Roosies!

$5 in loose halves got me 1 40% on my walk to work.
1 silver dime I spotted in a teller tray while dumping my last box of halves.
1 40% I spotted in the register drawer at Walgreens, of all places.

Thanks to all the regulars for posting. Its great motivation to get out there.

Another box of Halves: Another Skunk

Merc - that's 16 out of 18 skunks and only 2 pieces of silver recovered in the non-skunks. This is now going on close to 3 weeks.

I got $100 in mixed CWR and BWR dimes - Skunk

1 Box of Dimes: 1 x 1964 on the very last roll! Hoping this is my luck turning. It can't get much worse!!!

Seems like everyone is strugling a bit. Old timers chime in is it cyclical as I suspect? We are doing 2 boxes of halves a week. I have been having much better luck with boxes of nickels and thinking of asking for 5 boxes of nics a week as well. Alot of tells are saying they know what to look for so it's no secret. Still I beleive there is free silver in them boxes just waiting for us to pull it.

Good Luck fellow CRHer's. Need some silver! Broke a short dry spell with 4 war nickels today.

Love those Rosies in the clear tube Clorox! Sweet

found a ton of coin on my weekly 'walk about' but not much silver.

$1050 in CWR halves - skunk
$59 in loose teller tray halves - 1 frankie. My first ever pulled out of circulation!! :smile

One bank had a lady drop off 260 in rolled dollar coins! There was $180 left and I grabbed it all. All Ikes, no silver but still pretty cool!!

    Ace,
I don't know how you put up with a terrible streak like that. I would be throwing rolls of halves at the tellers for giving terrible boxes. Just kidding about that but dam that is one bad streak. Take the bad with the good, where is the good, man I'm looking for the good but there's none there. I think we all deserve boxes with at least 25 silvers in them. Good luck out there man

Thanks! The tube was a nice bonus, too!

Anyway, had some extra time before class, so I dumped and picked up $90 in dimes and $250 in quarters. One more silver Roosie, and a handful of plated state quarters in both silver and gold.
