I can't find anything on searching for a mercury quarter for any year, and it's not listed in any of my books. Do you have a picture of it? Was it by a mint other than the USA? Maybe a non-US mint coin/medal?

i've seen it at my coin store. maybe i got the year wrong, but it was in a plastic case like a proof set, and came with 2 dimes and 1 quarter. i've never seen a quarter like this one before

ill try to find a picture of it, if i can;t ill take a picture of it next time when i go to the coin store.

Please post a photo of that Mercury Quarter.

Are you sure you don't mean a Standing Liberty Quarter (1916-1930)?

When you call, ask them who minted that quarter.

I can´t find anything online that might shed some light on this either. I´m pretty eager to see what this could be. Maybe some kind of commemorative set celebrating that particular obverse design? Anyway... will be waiting patiently...

I'm sure it was a standing Lib, or maybe even a Washington. Other than that, it could only be some sort of non-mint issued token.

You guys don't have any Mercury Quarters because I hoarded them all, changed the history books and erased every mint workers mind from that era to forget about them. I sure would like to know what dealer this is so I can get my quarter back! :thumb:
