So that I can opine, why not an option for both?

CW offers 2 subscription options - digital or paper.
But the digital option also gets you the monthly special edition in the mail.

I get 52 issues and the digital every year.
The digital is good for when I'm on the road.
The paper is for when I want to kick back and get comfortable.

My paper subscription just ran out and I decided to go with the digital option for the next year.

I went with the digital when I got a subscription, much easier.

The digital edition comes free with the paper subscription.
I rec'd the paper sub for many years but last time around I switched to the digital, which I find very handy despite a couple of bugs that CW has been notified of but hasn't yet fixed.

I prefer the digital because it makes it easier to take around on my iPad. I have the Numismatist, Coinage, & World Coin News among other subscriptions. I also have the Red Book 2012 ebook on my iPad. One device to take all those magazines & books!! Makes it so convenient :)
