Where do you find major error coins?

Like those oblong cents. They are not going to fit in a roll, so I would think you would have to buy them from the mint?

Those are found in bags, not rolls. I doubt if the mint would sell any ''errors" to the public because they take pride in their quality control.

Don't bother with bags... You are much better off just buying them outright.

 

Error coins are on a secret page at the mint's web site. Very few people know how to get there, and they sure aren't going to tell you.

You need to know somebody who works at a wrapping room.
Find out where your bank gets theyre coins from..(brinks)
Ive never been able to buy bags myself..and believe me I tried.
Im sure youd have to bribe a few folks to be able to buy mint bags from them.
You could always buy bags from the mint for a premium...but I have yet to do that myself.
I would love to buy a few bags of new cents, nickels, and dimes.
