    Contact your local police IMMEDIATELY.

After you've talked to them, contact eBay by phone, not by messaging.

The chances that the guy will actually do anything to you are still slim, but he's gone way over the line here. There are nutcases out there. You need to take this seriously. Call the police. NOW.

Why play with fire why bother buying from him when you know it's fake. He is still going to continue selling unless ebay bans him all togther (unlikely).

Any one know how I can contact ebay by phone? I would just like to see him pay for shooting his mouth off,I'm not really concerned with his threats.I am a law abiding citizen with a clean record. And I fully envoke all aspects of my second ammendment rights at all times, if you know what I mean.

Send them to ebay, and message him once, ONLY once, and explain that if he continues, you'll contact your local PD, as well as his (you must have his personal info through the transaction), as well as the FBI's Internet Crime Unit. If he's threatening physical harm, his ISP can be made to give up his personal info, as can ebay. He's way more than likely just full of it. It does happen, though...some people hide behind their monitors and act all big and tough. Those are the kind of people who, in person, wouldn't hurt a flea. I wouldn't worry about it, but DO save every communication he sends you that is of that nature. He's just P.O.'ed you made him NOT be able to rip people off.....you did the right thing, and now he's leaving himself open to a passle of trouble. Also, the Facebook thing...while it's too late now, don't you have it so only your friends can access your page? You are right about 'usernames'...I never put my real name out there until the people I'm communicating with, I feel I can trust.

But in this loser's case, personally, I'd have no problem telling him that, if he knows all this about me, then to just pay me a visit and we could 'chat'....my being almost 25, 6'3", 260# defensive lineman for my college football team, not to mention my dad being a state trooper, I'd have no problem waiting for him........but it'd be a long wait. What do they call it...monitor muscles, or something like that???

If more people with time on their hands did what you did to protect unsuspecting/unknowledgable ebay buyers, it'd be a safer place. I don't see that as being a jerk. Kudo's to you for revealing this scammer.

I did message him back, just told him a little more about me,I told him that I was taking a trip to Arizona and since he is in Texas, maby we could meet for a beer. Also told him next time he is checking me out on facebook to hit me up with a friend request.lol.Maby I provoked him a little?lol but I at no point threatened him in any way.Like I said,I would like to teach him a lesson, but his threats mean nothing to me.

His knowing you are willing to travel out of your way...I'll bet he just locked the doors and drew the shades!! You won't be hearing from him. But DO save all those threats and send them to ebay...they'll boot him. Sure, he'll come up with another name, but when he does, have someone else do what you did (message me, for instance, and I'll do just what you did...I'll play his game...lol).

Nice work! One less scum on the Ebay.

Do you mind posting a pic of the coin? I'm curious :)

It takes him less 10 minutes to simply set up another id and populate it with dozen or so fake feedbacks' and once again start peddling items so was anything achieved? Last couple years i have alerted ebay for so many fraudulent items and IMO all of that was waste of time. Unless you fight the problem at the route cause it is simply waste of time and not to mention not safe in this case since you are giving your address and name. I think you are fine in this case but many of the counterfeit electronics and apparel are peddled by criminal rings.

I would follow through on recommendations here from others to pursue law enforcement; contact your attorney general by phone; FBI internet task force.

Here is a simple form to fill out, just copy and paste his threatening emails to you and any other evidence you have:

    http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

    Get it done!

Yea,I guess Im going to have to change the way I do some things online. I guess it's just not safe to put yourself out there the way I have done.Honestly,I when I started all of this,I was hoping to get this seller to change his ways, either voulentarily,or by at most costing him a little money.I didn't think it would go this far,but i guess some people have mental problems or something.Another lesson for me:smile All in all though I don't regret it one bit!

Thanks for the link,I'm going to hold off on using it for a little while though, but if he sends me one more message then it's on!
I really think this dude is harmless, more mouth than muscle. And I really don't like the idea of having my computer taken for evidence and who knows what else.I have very little faith in any government,or law enforcement angencys, way too much hassel.

Rats, I thought I knew the path, but I can't find it now, and I've got to head out in a couple of minutes. As I recall, it wasn't too hard to find my way to a link with a "Call Us" option -- it gives you a toll-free number and a one-time-use code for the phonemail menu. It's worked pretty well for me.

I'll check back in when I get back, and look around a bit more then if you still need it.

[Expletive not appropriate for 1950's TV] that. Making threats against me based on my real-world contact info skips you right over the "first and second warning" section of my own personal support script. Bring the hammer down on him, all the way, now.

Idiots like this need to be retrained. No, he's probably not going to come after you. Doesn't matter. If he's not serious, he can explain that in detail to eBay, his ISP, and his local law enforcement.

It's good you got him off ebay for selling fake coins. But your first mistake was making a purchase from him. Ebay and Paypal will give him your name and address, these are not information you want to give out to someone you are reporting.
As far as meeting up with him I don't see why you would want to do that. There are a lot of psychos in this world, and its clear he is ****ed at you. Why put yourself in a situation that could turn ugly? Tell him to back off or you will call the police on him.
