Picked up this nice 1876 Seated half and the 1798/7 Draped Bust. I also posted the cent in the "Post your old coppers" thread, so it's the same one.

Yes sir, that is a 1932-D. I know it is in worn condition, but it was all I could afford + my favorite WQD. I know you can't read the date too well, but they only date that could be is 1932, since there was no 1933 quarter.

Nothing wrong with that. We all strive for the best strikes and conditions on coins, but in doing that, we sometimes forget that these coins circulated. A well worn coin can bring us back to that reality and make us all the more appreciate what it is we collect. I morn the loss of my '32D. My well worn example was pulled from pocket change many years ago and was in Vol. I of a Whitman Folder. Alas, the folder was lost in a move some years ago. Dang I lament that loss.......

    Recent newp...

This is shown in Brass - which was sold out - but decided to get the Gold limited issue
on a specially prepared planchet with plain edge stamped: One Troy Oz. .999 Fine Gold.
The coin is on its way to ANACS to be encapsulated there.

Another new ancient. Very common for this particular emperor to have worn coins.

This reverse gives thanks to Neptune (under the name of Redux) for the safe return of Titus to Rome, from Antioch, by sea in 71 AD, on what must have been a hazardous voyage.

I love the dime, such an original-looking skin on it.
