Should dealers be allowed to pump things up for personal gain, declare bankruptcy and just start over? What about how that hurts people?

I do hope he gets the mental health help or finds a way to not be so triggered by me.

The greatest and most hysterical part of this all is that a simple comment to someone else got some people into a frenzy over nothing.

Fake coins made into money clips cost someone money. Besides, that someone is probably not a professional authenticator. So you see, little things as this hurt all of us in some way. Oh, EXCEPT for the folks that are numismatic experts in their own mind.

It seems funny that you think that he is triggered over you or that you live rent free in his head because he does not share your opinions, and that you believe he has some sort of mental health issue. Perhaps you are the one who has the mental health issue if you think that someone who doesn't buy your opinions whole-heartedly has to be mentally deranged or at least tortured by your thoughts. Maybe it's a projection issue on your part. Or just a tactic you use to which is known as an ad hominum, attacking the person over their characteristics or supposed characteristics rather than the issue at hand.

That said, I am not in this, just observing. Personally, I'd like to see less of this and more of just talking about the issue. And the issue is that fakes are out there and it hurts the hobby.

I saw some of these pop up on the Buy It Now listing a few days ago (qty- 6, that was a big red flag) and they were bought by someone within a minute or two, also at $149 each. I’m thinking the buyer thought they got a good deal. I worry about those things that look too good to be true...as they often are.

 

If only there was a law about facilitating the sale of counterfeit numismatic items... oh wait, there is.
