So my parents let me go through their little box of coins. Nothing of great importance or anything THAT interesting. just some Kennedy halves, one WLH, a few merc dimes, some Eisenhower dollars, and random other stuff. I saw the Morgans and this one peace dollar and kinda was like "Awwww ya!" So I started talking to my parents about them and they said that my Great Grandmother gave them to my mom and her siblings for holidays like Easter and Christmas and stuff like that. I told em they were made of silver and now they want to know how much each is worth. So I took a bunch of pictures (with my cell phone) and told my parents I would post them here and have you guys tell me your opinions on each. They would like to know what you would grade them at, how much they are worth, and if they are worth putting in containers. If you need better pictures let me know. I apologize in advance. The uploader tool was not working, and I couldnt upload the pictures here on the site so I had to upload the pictures to photobucket and link them. http://s1255.photobucket.com/albums/hh622/TJAugustine1/ As a side note, even though the pictures are from a cell phone, I think they are very good pictures. Just saying
Yeah, I'm suprised you got coin pics that good with a cell phone. They are all circulated, so if they are common dates they are worth their weight in silver. I don't have a Redbook or any other reference handy, so I'm not sure about the dates, but I think they are all common.
Sounds to me like they have great value, so I would just hold on to them and treasure them. The monetary value-not so much.... They are circulated common date VF XF AU coins worth melt value Mike
They are all common date-circulated,worth melt value.$27.34 today, but I wouldn't sell them because of where they came from.:smile
Ya we have no plans on selling them, but I would like to put them in air tites or something, just to keep em in the condition they are in now. They were just interested.
