Roll-searchers, post your results!

Well, went through a couple rolls at work at found this puppy. Pretty extreme case of struck through grease. Let me know what you guys think.

Decided to road trip today. went through jackson, ann arbor, and Yipsilanti MI. Like 150is miles on the car I think. Next time I will plot out the banks better as I was just randomly popping on and off the highway at big exits. Didn't end up being very productive. Hit a ton of banks that said "oh, we had some but this guy picked them up this weekend.":headbang:

Had 2k ready to spend and could only find around $300 in halves!

$50 in loose teller halves - skunk
$250 in CWR - 6 40% and 1 90%
picked up like 14 ikes, non silver

After gas I'd say I am up around $10. Good thing I enjoy driving. Michigan is a tough nut to crack.

 

Hit a few banks today and no halves. Asked for some rolls of dimes when I left the last one. They handed me 5 old wrappers that each have 1982-P on them. Quick look at one of them confirmed they were all 1982-P. Just looked online and saw that 1982-P is actually a decent date. Guess I'll have to at least look at all them now to see if there are any nice ones in the rolls.

 

After a horrible week I was glad to find some silver cheer! I found 9 silver dimes 2 40%ers and a 1964 half

Interesting about the Frankies that there are no branch mint coins (dates are 49, 50, 52, 54, 54, 60, 61)

 

Only 3 ATB's from 68 rolls? That's a testament of how hard these are to find.

 

I've done a couple of quarter boxes in order to find some and only found 5 or so in each box....

I dumped halves this morning and they had to replace the bag while I was there. I put in $688 before it stopped. When they took the bag out, the bottom layer was all silver!. I practically begged them to let me buy it, but they would not. I even offered to trade them for the ones that I wanted. I learned my lesson though, I will not look again. It is too frustrating.

Yeah, most won't let you buy the bags or anything in the bags.

 

Did you cry? It can never hurt to cry a little. Especially if it was a cute little teller. she would give you the coins in pity and go home loving and respecting her husband a little more than she had the day before. It's a win/win really.

2 boxes of halves, 1 40%er. I hate searching boxes around here, there's rarely anything worthy in 'em.

 

First box today had 5 40%ers. Second box had 3 40%ers, a 64, and 13 solid rolls of BU 1993s and a bunch of 2010s.

Two more boxes I'm saving for my husband. But he better get home soon or he loses out.

 

LOL....a true addict.

The Peso was an ender, so I guess that makes it a "Pender"

Also inside that same roll sat the lone '64 for the box. Wasn't a big find box-wise but was still cool to find the coins like that.
