You would think after all these years more WAMs would have made their way west but thankfully the haven't. More for us. LOL

Nice find OP. I have several 2000 wams, one 1999 wam but I can.t find that elusive 1998 wam.

ok, you got me, I had to look up what WAM meant. In case anyone else reading this wants to know, I'll save you the google search:

Now I'm going to have to start looking at pennies, great.

The 1998 and 2000 are pretty common. In the lower grades perhaps a $1 or $2. In MS grades the price jumps to perhaps $10 or so for a nice one. The valuable one is the very scarce 1999 WAM. A couple of years ago I found one, had it slabbed by NGC at MS-65 and sold it for $550. Even the lower grade 1999's are pretty valuable as they are scarce.

That sounds nice if it happens, I come across a few. If I had to guess ten or so out of a $25 case of cents. On the flip side of that, you would think I would have found my first 92-D CAMs...nope. They are exponentially tougher to find and I go through dozens of them.

I am in that exact same predicament. :(

Awesome! The bad part is, as time goes on, they keep circulating and they're getting more and more beat up. I've had a few 99s in my pocket change over the last year. Pretty ugly looking. No wams. I think a plain, MS-65 1999-P, no wam from circulation would be rare in itself now.

Congrats. I've found all three WAM's, never a CAM.

I find a WAM about one in every 7-9 boxes of cents I go through.

Nice....I've only found one....a 1998 like yours. A very nice CT member gave me a 2000, so I need to find the 1999. :)
