Lot clog 1983 D cent and it look like 9 over 8!

    Hi all cointalk folks, I found 1983 D from bank rolls. I know that was clog but does it look perfectly 9 over 8! do u agree? cent 9 over 8 006.JPG cent 9 over 8 036.jpg

    I think we could help better if you posted a straight on photo. Is this a copper or zinc cent?

    To the OP, if you're talking about the raised bumps, those are gas bubbles. Very common on Lincolns in the 80's.
    The 8 looks like it was damaged.

    I did checked weight it 2.5 so i guess that mean zinc. other picture i hope that will help. 1893 clog 008.JPG

    Finally managed it got straight photo, and it really very hard take picture with small loupe lol! so there is picture! i hope that will help alot!

    Do you have a scanner? If so, you can scan it at a high resolution.
