Is this a 1997 doubled ear cent? Found this guy while RHing this morning...it doesn't look as pronounced as the example in Cherrypicker's, but if this is one of that variety, i guess it's that way because of wear. : Thanks
looks close to the example they have on here: http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php however I am leaning towards more of MD then an actually DDO. I would take it to your nearest dealer and see what they say.
Revising my statement after seeing how much PMD is on the rest of the coin. It could be either from these pics. I'd take Shoe's suggestion and take it to someone that can check it out in person.
