Cashed my check on lunch at the bank that gave me the 14 silver box yesterday. They were asking/begging me to open an account. I asked them if they would continue to supply me with halves and they said they would bend over backwards for me if I opened an account. Needless to say I gave them my license to set up all the paperwork and I would come back to make the initial deposit. I can only hope there are more boxes like that in the pipeline for me.

Hit one of the banks that did not order me halves this week and got them ordered again for next week. Sowing the seeds in hopes I can reap some silver next week.

Alright, I've posted on this thread before, and no one never responded to it even though I found a war nickel. These finds are not as good, but please respond.

I got 5 rolls of nickels, and 5 rolls of pennies. In the pennies, I got 59 coppers and two wheats (1957-D and a 1949). Always nice to see wheats. In the nickels, I got one pre-60 nickel (a 58-D), a 1986 Canadian nickel, and a 1998 'commonwealth of the Bahamas" coin. Not too shabby. Next week you'll see my results on 10 rolls of both nickels and pennies!

 

Keep upping the volume, that's the only way you'll really find anything.

 

Coinlover - if you are just posting results, you may not get a response. I post just to put it out on the forum. Sometimes it will get a response, but a lot of the time it won't.

If you are looking for feedback frame it in a question. You'll probably get some responses that way. In terms of your above post...not sure how to respond without a question?

 

I have a question, is it possible to already have boxes at hand at a credit union or bank, or will I have to order them?

 

Depends on the size of the CU/Branch. Let them know in advance that you will be picking up lots of coin from them, and they will usually bump their order volume to accommodate you.

Found 11 40% halves in $25 worth from my local bank -- the first 8 were just sitting in the teller's trays! No luck at the other three banks I checked. Two said they don't carry halves, the other gave me customer wrapped rolls marked "No S."

Thanks, I'm actually on my way out of the house to pick up $50 more! Based on this thread it looks like they've got an unusually high amount of silver.

 

Be alert that they don't try and charge you to order boxes. An employee at one particular WF branch this week told me I would have to pay $7.50 per box of pennies that I wanted. I wrote about it on here so the particulars can be found a few pages back on this thread if you haven't already read about it.

 

This is the the fake walker I found a couple of weeks ago.

 

91 rolls of pennies (all packaged before 1995):

Finally broke the skunk streak on my 2nd to last roll on my 2nd box of today (7th box since my last silver).

I found: 1 x 2000S (Silver)...I believe this is 90%. It was the first post-1970 (69 for that matter since I never found a 70) silver that I've found. It was pretty cool.

Also found a silver Roosie in $50 CWD's today.

I still have not crossed my milestone...current Silver content from CRH: 99.8071 Ounces! :dead-horse:

Nice Ace! I remember you were starting close to around the same time I started. But I kind of stopped here and there and wasn't as diligent as you. Nice to see you are hitting your goal. I'm currently at 46 ty. oz. that I've found by roll searching.

I did 1 box of halves = skunk, and 1 box of dimes to get 3 Rosies for the night. Hitting it hard tomorrow. Needs some silver halves!

My First commemorative! Not silver, but still pretty cool. I don't see a lot of posts where people find them. Anyone got any stories/pics?
