Very nice looking coin. What does something like that go for?

What kind of setup do you have to take pics?

Thanks. I normally don't disclose the amount I paid, especially since I do pay premium if I really like the look and condition, as in this case.

I shoot with a Canon 5D MKII with a Sigma 105 macro lens using a few OTT lites. Depending on what kind of image I want to take, i position the light accordingly. I believe this was a semi-tilted shot towards one light to show the color. If I was shooting to show surfaces, I would have a few lights positioned right above the coin and the coin would be resting flat on the surface.

Fair enough. I just love the color and detail of the coin. I would have paid a premium too, although i'm guessing you paid a lot more for it than i could afford :p

:) It is actually part of 4 set seasonal Maple leaf coin issue by RCM if they had made it 24k it would drawn a lot more interest.

How do you like this one?

This coin originates from our neighbor to the south. It is a 1906 10 Centavos from the United States of Mexico. Mintage was 8,410,000 and it is .800 silver. I like the original toning on this one. :)

Nice one. I like 19th century mexican coinage for some reason. (I know yours is 20th, but same design as 19th). :)

Generous luster throughout both sides. There's a little die clash atop the 9/T of CENT, from the curve of Vickie's neck. Enjoy! :thumb:
