I have acquired some little bags that i might put some coins in, but am more curious to if it is safe or not. They have the recycle symbol "4" on it, which means low-density Polyethylene

    when i looked it up.

    Is this safe for coins?

It also has the following symbols on it :

CE, FCC, -, and a lighting bolt with a circle

polyethylene is safe for coins, but I'd still store your expensive ones in containers which you know are coin safe (like mylar flips or airtites or whatever)

    Hunt,

Any kind of baggie used for food storage is okay. None of them contain PVC.
