Found a 1914 Buffalo! It took a little acetone to clear up the date area, and a specific angle of the camera, but here it is. I'm sure it could easily have been in the dateless junk bin of a coin shop for $1, but I'm happy anyway. I saw the reverse of this coin first and thought "this is in great shape compared to the usual dateless buffalo's I find, the date is going to be really easy to see". Then I flipped it over and sighed. A little work and I was back to being happy about it.

    $2.50 in halves + 2 Ikes yielded 1 1954D Frankie

2 Boxes of dimes: one skunk, one with 2 Roosies.

One '63 Roosie from a teller's tray which they handed over, no problem. Another teller said she was keeping it (one roosie) for herself. Not worth fighting over, but I do have a new dump bank :)

Going to pick up a box of halves today! Wish me luck!

Found a nice 1926 buff the other day... gotta keep going on those nickels. Almost done with my book... I can smell that 50-D coming lol

Dumped $500 in Q's and $5 in dimes and came out up $0.20 on Friday. Picked up $5 in loose halves - skunk
Went around Sat morning looking for halves with my daughter $3.50 - skunk

I have to wait to search until my halves come in on Wednesday since I really don't have anywhere to dump quickly this week and I need the cash to pick up the halves. I'll have to be patient, which is a little difficult. I guess I'll hit the local banks in my work town again and see if they have any loose halves and IKES and hope for something.

picked up about $67 in halves from a teller who had saved them for me. best find of the year for me. 47x40% and 11x90%. Also pulled one more 40% out of $100 in BWR. still have some dimes and quarters to go through later.

    ^ Nice!

My box of halves and nickels today was a complete skunk. I do however, have about enough pre 60 nickels to fill about 15-20 rolls! Lol. Anyone need an assorted roll??

I think I'm getting some rolls from the creedit union this week, maybe 10 rolls of pennies, and 10 rolls of pennies. How many wheats, pre-60 nickels, or any older coins do you think I will find. Just so you know, I've gotten a buffalo nickel, a 1943-P war nickel, and the last 5 rolls of pennies I've gotten got only 3 wheats.

That's not bad at all, I average about 1 wheat per every 10 rolls with the penny boxes that I've been going through.

    Great box!

I did a box of quarters.....no silver (didn't expect any) and the following: 1 Gettysburg, 3 Olympic, 2 Mount Hood. Those ATB sure aren't circulating much...

I'm new to CT, can you tell me what "ATB" stands for? Also, are Gettysburg, Olympic and Mount Hood some of the new quarters? If not, what are they?

    Apologies for my ignorance!
