I was just killing time looking at things on the web and came across this.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/1928-P-Peac...tu=UCC&otn=15&ps=63&clkid=6114252986750456555

now I know the 28P is a key date but I didn't think a flaw like this existed. If you look, the reverse is flipped. Now everything is correct in terms of letters placement of the eagle etc, its just like someone flipped it. I know in some cases when you take pictures it'll flip the image (like the tires on a car commercial) but if you look at the obverse it is perfectly fine in the images. Also comparing to other ebay listings it just seems off.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it but my curiousity is peaked.

    thoughts from the more educated?

Q: why is the Eagle on the wrong side of the coin??

    A: It scanned in backwards...sorry

Nope, if you look at the shadow you can clearly see the person took the picture the wrong way. Then when he went to rotate the image he chose invert instead of rotate.

Google "how coins are minted" and read, read, read.
You'll find out how a coin like that is an impossibility.

The seller states in the "Questions" it was his mistake.
