Your newbie is just amazing with eye appeal galore! It looks like it's raw to me. Are you going to get it certified by a TPG? I bet it gets a MS65 though the photographs are somewhat blurry. It looks to have great luster also.

Thank you, coinczar! I am exceedingly, over-the-top pleased with it! It is raw and I haven't yet considered what to do with it. I originally intended it for my 7070 but now that it's in hand, I am wavering on that... MS65? Wow. I haven't considered getting it graded because, honestly, I haven't yet learned how to do that :) Finding time to learn, all that. Your question has my curiousity piqued.

Thank you very much for your comments. I appreciate your time and perspective on my new add!

lol. can't even figure out the date. but i also got three shield nickels, a v nickel, six canadian silver quarters and a silver dime, a 1914 british sixpence, and a couple coins from austria and nazi germany. total cost?

    $5.00

i pleaded with the guy to let me pay him more, but he wouldn't take any more than what it would cost to get his car washed. ok, twist my arm. :)

Thanks - I "borrowed them" off of Stacks Bowers web site.
I plan on having professional images taken once I receive the coins in hand.

I paid dearly for the 02-S - but I know I could have been hit up for more if
there were more bidders. A few friends mentioned that they didn't care for
the images... which works out well ... especially if you know the nuances of
    the series.

Here's another coin from that group in NY... This is a tougher date than most realize:

Which one do you like better :

    # 1 - [IMG]
    ---- [IMG]

    # 2 - [IMG]
    ----- [IMG]

They are both the same grade...

  14. And I don't particularly like Arnie's photos. I don't think he captures the coins the way they look in hand. My last coin from him looked a ton better in hand than his photo.

Definitely #1. The rim toning speaks to me. Both are nice coins though. I really like that 02 S you posted at the top of the page as well. Tougher date, especially in that grade/condition.

Some great coins being posted. It's been a few months since I purchased any new coins due to work and sheer lack of time. However, I'm back on the prowl now and hopefully will have some new ones to post shortly. Keep them coming.
