Here's some pics of my 1908 gold Indian and I think it may have an error on it. Gold coins are very difficult to find errors on and sometimes what I think is an error comes up short. That said, I think this time I really got an error. What do you think? Which TPG grades errors? Oh forgot to tell y'all where the error is. I think it's his neck, it don't look right, looks like feathers came up on the left side of his neck.
Can you circle the area of the possible error so we can see because I do not see anything that would leave me to believe this is an error coin.
I would if I could but I simply don't know how. Look at this pic of my old gold indian I sold and you should be able to tell that the 1908 looks like it has an error. Yes, it's real, I bought it at my friends coin shop here locally. Here's a link of s 1908 on the bay. It kind of has a neck error too. lol Does the cherry picker book say anything about gold indian errors? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1908-Indian-Gold-Quarter-Eagle-2-50-GEM-BU-RARE-MS-Uncirculated-Coin-/200708101701?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2ebb229645
