I have gotta say, that might be of the best finds I have ever heard. The best being one of my friends finding a 1969-S DDO and submitting it and selling it for $45,000. I guess if I wanna get that lucky, I gotta keep my eyes peeled!
A recent upgrade as I like my Mercs circulated. I can't relate how difficult it is to find the early dates in VF/XF. All part of the fun I guess.
ff-topic:Wow 1969-S DDO big $ LMC!!!:thumb: Jr always:devil: had to get in to things but that is One time I about hugged the blood out of him Grandpa too!!
It's been almost 24 hours, jello still hasn't come clean. That 16-D you allegedly took a pic with via your cell phone is actually from David Lawrence Rare Coins. How do I know? All their pics look like that. I even hunted down the auction; http://www.davidlawrence.com/inventory/viewitem.cfm/inventory/308483 I feel fairly confident in saying that he's lying in regards to the story of his son finding the coin. He probably doesn't even own a '16-D. But there's no shame in not owning a '16-D... I don't own one either. The shame is in lying about it.
That 1941 is spectacular, ldhair. I really like... well, everything about it! Thank you for showing this piece. -L
I haven't posted anything new here for a while! Mostly hole fillers, haven't gotten many of my newer ones pictured though. These are about 2 months old in my collection. Enjoy . And a significantly worn, but toned 1920
The END! 1st Yes Dave did had my coin up for Auction and No One $$$ my reserve!!! It will be on one more site find it win it:foot-mouth:&I will send a personal Note a long with it
Jello, that coin sold on 6/21/10 for $2100 and change. http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/16652528/ I'm dropping it at this point. If you don't want to be honest, that's fine.
Okay, first off, welcome to the forum. I have looked at a lot of your posts and am struck with sheer jealousy. Very nice dime BTW ~Cannyn
Thanks!! There is really no reason to be jealous of me!! Most of the stuff I buy is not really that expensive.
