It's a new one on me. Someone please explain? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1609-UNITBD...24?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item256b8dcd68
What's to explain its a fake. 1609, the United States wasn't even a country yet. Most likely cheap jewelry
I sometimes get the Chinese characters confused. So I guess it's an easy mistake to make. I probably I should quit counterfeiting chinese coins:devil:. lol
Guys, my bad. It truly sucks being lysdexic. But just think, Life ain't giving me no lemons. No sir. I am getting MELONS!!!!!!!!!!
I'd buy it just to have something to laugh at. I see this seller is from Malaysia. Kind of late to get in on the action. Ebay's gonna "crack down" on it next month!
What is there for ebay to crack down on with fantasy pieces such as this? How is ebay going to judge what is an improperly marked replica or copy made in the likeness of an official government issued coin or something made as a fantasy piece? This is one of many reasons why their upcoming policy should not go into effect and must be repealed immediately.
Yes, whenever something does not look like an authentic piece, the word "China" will come up here. And in many cases rightfully so. But isn't it very obvious that this is not an actual coin? Next thing you will read here is that Lauer's counting tokens were not made in Nürnberg but in Asia. Christian
