$50 over spot but very limited mintage commemorative, really it's a good price if you really want it. It's gonna take some years or never to be worth it's metal content for the price you pay though. Cool looking coin no matter I think, I almost tempted to buy it because of the cool presentation box it comes in. :)

Only for those that collect for investment, I don't so it wouldn't affect me. I'm usually not big into colorized coins, this one seems limited though on the amount of color. I just wish they had a picture of the reverse or they do and I'm going blind.

It looks nice; mintage of only 2,296; it's a little pricey because of the packaging.

Not a fan of colored coins, but you liking it will be what makes it worth it.

Ah yeah, should have figured it'd be the Queen. I guess the ship is actually the reverse, queen portrait is the obverse.

Cool looking coin, not a fan of the colored coins though.

I'm not a fan of colorized coins either, but I AM fascinated by the Titanic. Almost enough to convince me to buy one.

  15. I like the design and theme packaging, but if I purchased every limited edition world bullion coin I would be broke. :taking-a-bath: TC

As others have said, I would be possibly be interested if it wasn't colorized. I can get past Queenie's mug on everything, but the color junks it up for me.

I read where the Certificate of Authenticity is a replica of a passenger ticket. The 2,229 mintage was the number of passengers on the ship. APMEX is the exclusive seller.

EDIT: The mintage is 2,229 not 2,296 like I previously thought. Sorry.
