Not wanting to drag my camera out...

Anyway a NGC slabbed coin I bought has arrows on the side of the case. Never seen anything like it, is it something new they are doing to get one over on the counterfeiters?

Well now I'm done eating, so I suppose a pic is in order. The normal slabs I usually see is on the left, the one I got is on the right.

The 25 slabs I got back from NGC are all this way. Does this mean the Chinese have infiltrated NGC ?

It's just the style of the newer NGC slabs.

I didn't suspect counterfeit, just never saw one like it. I *think* the ones with arrows are the scratch resistant ones from what I have been reading.

Sweet. Now you can save money from not needing slab protectors. :thumb:

The arrows are there to tell counterfeiters how to crack open the slab and insert another coin it.

No seriously thats how the new slabs are.

I believe they went to those about the time they started using the edgeview slabs for all denominations so sometime around 2010.
