Actually from all the smearing and mudslinging BUunc has done to try and unjustifiably ruin my reputation, I felt my post was more than appropriate.

Detecto, your remarks are uncalled for, I have not ever seen BU outright insult you. Perhaps he's been a little frank, with you, but that is the extent of that.

I think this is just a classic case of zinc rot.

I was thinking the same thing.

I only posted it because I thought it was interesting, nothing more.

He actually emailed an eBay seller I won an auction on, and personally told this eBay seller that I "would probably not pay for the coin" and "if I did pay I would probably file a SNAD"

People smear all the time, as not everyone can't "play nice" but actually emailing an eBay seller I won a coin from in order to smear my reputation is completely uncalled for and immature.

Ahh, got cha'. It's really interesting to look at these, as you can see the 'insides' of the zinc cents.

When I first noticed it I thought someone clipped it on purpose until I noticed the outer layer of copper is overhanging the inner zinc core.

I wonder if I listed it on eBay for say, oh I don't know, $95,000 I would get any bids or offers on it? lol

Nah, I'll just hang on to it for a conversation piece :D

A good portion of my collection is like that. Not really worth much, just stuff I like. My star note collection is proof of that. :)
