Still some of us left in Jackson, LOL. The city has been losing population for 20 years, but the County as a whole is growing slowly. I was transferred here by my employer in the early 80's. Do you remember where your Mothers family property was located? I'd guess the eastern side of the County.
Whoa. I wonder if they only take it back 10 years plus 60 days, or if November 2001 is The Beginning Of Time for their records? I sold my first item in 1998, and I know I did quite a bit of business from then through the second half of 2001. Maybe someday I'll get up my nerve to start selling again, despite the imbalance of power imposed by the current Buyer Protection policy.
I think their policies certainly made them lose a lot of sellers, good and bad. And is a deterrent to keep them away.
ole Popcorn Sutton. an amazing man, the mountains lost a colorful character that year he is very missed these days, got the chance to meet him once. R.I.P my friend.
Hmmm...I'll have to get back to you on that. I was pretty young at the time. I recall a place somewhere not too far away called "The Cascades"...or something like that. I seem to recall steps along a man-made waterfall that was lit from under the water with all sorts of lights. Probably not there anymore. :grandpa:
