Had some ebay bucks that I needed to spend so I picked these up, courtesy of ebay 1977-S Proof Dime - PCGS PR69DCAM (birth year ) 1945 Merc - Micro S (I'm guessing VG to F??)
Here are a couple of fine examples I wanted to share. Franklins happen to be my favorite series, and this nickel was a must for my 1953 proof set. The pair cost about 150.
Thanks copper, I'm starting to get more serious about coin photography. I've been upgrading some of my photography equipment, and those four pictures were taken with my newest amazing lens. It's nice melding together my two hobbies of collecting coins and photography.
Oh and two more. Paid $0.75 for this: and another freebie: So far I paid $3 even for coins and got all this. (Less than face value)
Cazkaboom; Where do you go to buy these awesome coins? I definitely want to go where you go for sure!
Just bought this. I dont have a good photo of the reverse yet (but it does have similar toning). NGC PF-65
That's nice. You know, I think I have one of those, but so worn that you can't even be sure of the date!
I just recieved my 2012 Silver proof ATB Quarters. I hate the frosted look of Washington, so plain of an image. If the reverse designs were not so beautiful, I would send them back. Question; How can I get rid of the lighting on the digital microscope ?
