Team, I hope this isn't too much of a goofy question but what exactly does the letter in from of the number in ANA Member Numbers. I recently became a member and only have (3130358) as mine. Also there are areas which says I'm not allowed to enter such as Member Logos and NGC. Thanks Bone
Sounds like a mistake, but I'm no expert-my best guess is to email the ANA back and tell them of your problem, then again I would call them, one-on-one wont prolong the problem anymore than necessary.
Bone - The letter in front of the ANA member number means - usually an R which means returning member or an L which means life time member. I'm not sure but I suspect the reason you don't have a letter is because you are a new member. Could be wrong though. As for why you cannot access certain areas of the site - it's probably just because they haven't updated the database yet for permissions.
GDJMSP- That could be the case, but I just joined and I got a "J" in front of mine. The probable reason is that I'm a junior member and ANA wants to keep track of this membership more than the RETURNING/ REGULAR member. I would agree that they may not have all updated their database.
Bone, my number's similar to yours. I first logged in with that number as my user name, and used the temporary password they gave me.
Yes, I remember now. The number was my temp user name. I logged on and changed it to something else. I'll double check tomorrow with a call. I can log on and search around but there are areas I just can't get into. The lady (really helpful) said they were in the process of installing an internet patch or something so a MAC using OS-X and Safari as the browser can access it better. Thanks B
Update - I got my official ANA membership card today with my official number R-3130358. You can rest easy now, LOL... B
Ben when I called asking about my no. the lady said R Is for regular , they were very easy to get through to and very nice and helpful . rzage
