Hello, I have a set of three uncut $2 bills that I bought for face value. They came with a certificate of authenticity and I dont know what there worth. Can you guys help me? The year of them is 2003 The serial number on the first one is: J99890528A The second one is: J99896528A The 3rd one is: J999052528A Thanks ~Corbyn
Your pic isn't coming up. Until we see them, we can't give you a value. There's more to evaluating currency (banknotes) than the serial number. We really need to see scans preferably.
Corbyn....you're being told they are worth 6 dollars total. No premium or nothing. Sorry. added later: Sorry to be so flip here. After the picture posted, I added a different comment. Since they actually look nice to me. And after reading values some people have for it (ldhair and TheNoost) who are better able to judge, than me, I'd say you got a good deal. Good luck with selling it when you want to.
I don't see this as being very valuable at this time, but who knows? Don't just spend it. Those are nice looking bills. Too bad the serial numbers weren't more 'collectible'.
The sheets of 5's, 2's & 1's I got from my bank had four to a page. The OP has to place whatever value he wants on the holder and certificate. Of course finding a buyer that meets him on it might be problematical ?
