Hi i can buy the following coins from someone. For all of the together he is asking 15dollars i dont have pictures of them, just the description of what he is offering 5cents from 1974 1dime from 1966 1/4dollar from 1776-1976 1cent from 1993 5cent from 1981 1/4dollar from 1995 1cent from 1976 5cent from 1988 1cent from 1986 1/4dollar from 1993 1dime from 1997 1dime from 1996 1/4dollar from 1966 1cent from 1979 Asked him to send me pictures by email, so when i have those i will place them here to is 15dollars to much or not? thanks
Unless they're all high grade or perhaps slabbed/graded very high, I'd say 15 dollars is too much. I see nothing but clad listed, Looks to be about $1.50 face value, I'd say $2.00 is a top price (if you really want them) if they're just circulated raw clad coins.
Everything you listed is circulation change here. Not one item is worth more than face value in my eyes. I would say go to a money changer locally and buy US coins if you want simple examples of them.
This is a picture i recieved. But if you all say 15dolars is to much i wont buy them. (unless with this picture you guys say there is a coin in it that is worth it)
This confirms my initial response but now I'd say, offer him face value for them if you really want them. There is nothing special with these coins. It looks like the loose change I plan to spend again in my pocket. $15 would be bending you over and well, you know where I'm likely going with such phrase...
oh yeah, i know what you meen Ill make him the offer (maybe il double the face value just becouse its hader to get US coins here in Belgium) But if you guys say its not worth the 15dollars, i believe you and i wont give it for it.
Yeah, the only way those would be worth a little more is if they were a little older, pre-'64 dimes and quarters which they would have 90% silver content. None of those above are key dates though for sure.
i sended him my offer of $3,5 He did reply and asked me if i was crazy I replied him again, and told him i may be crazy, but not that crazy
I would have asked if he was crazy, since he's trying to sell $1.50 worth of coins for 10 times not only face value but actual value of them.
You can find those in your pocket at the end of the day. I would offer him nothing, if you really want change ask a friend to mail their pocket change to you.
he propably tought it was going to be easy money i think. I have 2 people from this forum that want to send me some coins allready, so that will be a verry nice start for my collection. and at the end of the week a package is going in the mail ere to the US with some Belgian Euro coins. I love how this forum works
The topic creator is not from the US it appears from one of his posts. Do you collect a specific type of coins or just wanted US money in general. If it is that hard to obtain near you then pay what you would like for it! ($15.00 is a lot though for those)
he already has a start The Return. i sent him pretty much what he got offered, so i hope he is happy with them
i will be when they get here, that i know for sure. that and al the others from the forum who are sending me some coins. I wonder how long it will take to get here from the US to Europe cant wait for them to arrive PS: All who has send me or is going to send me, thanks again, and when i recieve it and i have the adresses, i will surely send something back (i am looking for something for all of you )
