Red book vs blue book, what is the difference.

    Thanks, I noticed that the prices for the sets are upto 2003 only.

    The Charlton catalog is far more detailed, since it takes up 2 volumes.
    Both the Haxby and Charlton catalogs have information on size, composition and weight.
    Unless you intend to specialize in Canadian coins, the Haxby catalog should be more than adequate for your needs.

    Whatever you do, don't pay any attention the prices listed in the books you buy.

    I learned this the hard way, Paid 200$ for two coins that sell for 50$ or less each :D, I do my research first now, Thanks.
