I'm sitting around waiting for it to shoot back up so I can sell my 8+ pound foreign silver bulk lot. It's not looking too good right about now though. =(

Could not find much info on what the figure in reverse holding the trident was supposed to represent.

Side note: Austria celebrated that "millennium" with a series of 15 coins, starting in 1991 and ending in 1996. After all, the first time "Ostarrîchi" was mentioned in an official document was in 996. And I guess the standing figure is supposed to be Austria, see the Austria Fountain depicted on this page http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austria_(Personifikation).

Here is my new-ish baby... A Dawson Dollar... I know it isn't worth much, but I love the ultra high relief and the designs on it.

I have shown it to my friends out here, and they all fell in love with it and went searching for their own examples, which so far only one (Derek) has been successful in aquiring one.
I guess I was really lucky, as mine is so much better than the one Derek managed to get. Plus I got mine for $3.00

New addition to my Mexico Type set from NYINC:

1745 Mexico 8 Reales in an NGC MS61 holder. I had a chance to inspect the coin in-hand and I was puzzled by the grade. MS61 normally means hairlined to ****, which this coin is not. It has nice surfaces, but the luster is not booming. I would give this an AU58, personally, since I think I see a bit of rub on the globes and reverse crown. Overall a good addition to my set, in my opinion.

How much did you pay for this Icerain? I am asking since something has me nervous about the portrait. Hoave you checked the edges?
