2 rolls of pennies, nothing of interest but 9 shield pennies. i know it is a small sample but i think 9% is a high percentage

I just got 19 rolls of BWRs of 2011-Ps. I'll probably keep a couple rolls for posterity and return the rest unopened.

Hey, if you're going to return them I'd like to get ahold of two over here on the west coast.

Found a V-nickel! It is well-worn, scratched, and corroded, but still worth the 5 cent investment.

Nice find. I sometimes wonder why people who roll the coins don't realize these old coins.

Did two boxes of dimes and both were skukns. I'm going to stop the dimes for a while as they have been slim pickings the last few months for me. I will stick to my halves for now. I'll be picking up my four boxes tomorrow.

    $330 in halves; 1 40%er.

$1490 in dimes, 11 roosies, 1 King George Canadian that looks like it went through a meat grinder. Silver is silver.

CWR or BWR - Does one or the other have better odds of finding silver?

It really depends and is difficult to answer. BWR you always have a chance for something. CWR, you could be searching someone's dumps, or you could run into a stash that Grandma turned in to pay her oil bill this winter. Monster scores typically come from CWR but they are few and far between while the BWR are steady producers of a couple per box in most areas.

For BWR, I average 3.26 silver coins per box ($500). For CWR, I average 22.62 silver coins per $500. I take CWRs when ever I can get them.

    Yesterday, I searched $200 of dimes.....skunk.

Had the itch to search quarters so I picked up $50 worth of CWR and $40 of BWR, both were skunk. The $40 in CWR dimes they had produced a single 1964 Roosie. The teller knows me by name and let me look through her trays of coin to pick out what I wanted since all the dime boxes they have been giving me are solid 2011. Pretty cool on their part for sure.

Just sold 15 rolls of 40% silver to pay some bills and cover the cost of a camera lens I just bought... got $1150 for the rolls. Probably could have done better, but I was happy with a fast sale and an easy buyer to work with.
