My recent buys.

1987 US Mint Prestige Set. With box and paper. These sell for around $35-$40, got it for $30.



1982 George Washington Commen. Half. Proof Silver. They sell for around $15-18, got it for $14.



Gonna hang onto this stuff for a while. I sold a bunch of old, low grade coins of mine, to clear some room and to have money for some nicer stuff.

I find allot of those Washington halves in the junk bins some still in their air tight at the coins shop I go to. Not to knock it any, I happen to like the design as well. Nice buys though. Good job.

 

nice purchases! i dont own any proof sets except the one i just ordered (1991, my birth year) and im going to start buying more i think.

Yep - nice set. Some of them have toned ugly - my opinion. Used to have all the prestige sets, but sold them. Like them better than the proof sets.
