Thanks robec! RLM, No idea on that one. I guess NGC thought it had less than 5% original mint "red" (really copper) color. I will let you know what PCGS says as I am trying to cross it.
I was being mostly facetious. It is a bit hard to tell just how much of he mint red is left, but brown it at most the least color on that one.
Recently picked this up for my 7070. It was stranded all alone, lost in the back of a 3-ring binder of statehood quarters... -L
Picked this up recently and also experimenting with some new photography techniques. The obverse is pretty smoothed out but at least the date is still there.
Did you win this on eBay for $13 last week? I'd planned on putting in a few bids, but the auction-ending time was impossible to fit in my schedule. She sure is gorgeous! Wish I would've paid more attention to the auction though... The realized price was very fair. -Brian
iGrade, you got the price right . I bought the 1955 Lincoln for $13.83 on Dec 12th. I dont think that even covered the slabbing cost for the seller.
Yup, I believe that's the date. ... So, you wanna double your money? Hahaha. Just kidding, ofcourse. -Brian
