One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.

I think both your posts were trolling. No one asked for your opinion on the US military or if you liked the subject matter, and then the other post saying you'll honor every hemorrhoid you've ever had? C'mon man that's blatant trolling. The thread was talking about the current rise of a specific coin that happens to commemorate the US Army. You chose to derail the thread and get on your soap box and purposely post a
deliberate inflammatory remark about the US itself and it's military. Next thread that is titled "Opinions on the US and it's military" knock yourself out, but in this thread it's trolling.

The coin is a terrible buy at that price and subject matter is part of the reason.

Well the market for them right now would disagree with you. If the subject matter offends you that much then stay out of thread and don't troll it.

Like 50 ebay auctions would beg to differ and if you think it's still bad then DON'T buy one. I wouldn't want you to own one if your just going to complain about the people who keep America safe, I rather someone who appriciates it and what it means to have it.

  6. This is coin chat, not political chat. If you have a personal problem with the coin itself political wise, take it to general discussion. Otherwise quit ruining someone else's thread.

I should have the right to give my opinion on the coin, being that the only coin I collect that isn't bullion is half dollors... The 1982 George Washington half dollor is made of 90% silver and can be bought as an MS70 for melt price 30 years later, sure there was 4 million of them but millions have been melted already. The coin in this thread has a very subjective subject matter and isn't even made from silver...The shipping cost on this coin is worth more than the coin and time will prove me right...on the bright side it will always be worth atleast 50 cents.

No one has a problem with you making an opinion such as in your last sentence because it pertains to the thread itself. However your opinion on the US an it's military does not pertain to the thread and was not asked of you (or anyone else) to share. How are you not able to understand this after a 3rd explanation?

And how do you not understand that the subject matter has a direct correlation to it's value. edit

What I find funny about this site is the American bias...I post at other coin sites and bullion sites and people opinions are way different. Go to Silverseek.com and ask what everyone's favorite silver bullion coin is and ASE rank very low, same with other sites, but this site in every thread ASE are everyones favorite. It's like this site blocks IP addys from foreign countrys or something.

50k is not a low population for a coin that was never intended for circulation, the coin isn't made from silver, it has a subjective subject matter and is offensive to many......Coin collecters put way to much hype on new releases when rarely does a coin that is snatched right up ever turn out to be worth anything. True collectible coins are the ones that slide under the radar and get neglected along the way, not coins that all got put in safe keeping or slabbed within a year of their release date.

Hi Guano...I've always enjoyed your posts in the past. Just out of curiosity...where to you hail from? If it's anywhere on the face of the Earth, it's probably someplace where the US Military sacrificed lives to protect those of your ancestors. A simple "thank-you" would be nice.

It's the culture here Guano. Different sites offer unique cultures. Forgive us all if we tend to place the US first, after all, it is our country and our loyalties tend to that nature. If you don't like the numismatic/bullion culture in this forum, then by all means please go to a site that suits your cultural needs. I'll leave you with this.........
