Hello Friends and Happy NEW YEAR!! Just a few days ago I found this Neat Penny...I almost took it for a Ordinary Penny...and was about to put it in Change to use for shopping but....a last...very very lucky second look and...IN GOD WE TPUST!! Have you found anymore? Well..what your views? God Bless, and Happy New Year to all Members here! Beck, Kissimmee FL
Cazkaboom dude is right IMO, grease filled die, no other reasonable explanation, although, a struck through coin that small would be interesting, but I doubt something that small would do it!
Some people like grease-fill errors. Congrats Mirza! It won't get you rich, but it's kind of neat to find these.Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year.
I agree with the others, grease filled die. What this means is the die that stamped the coin got a little lubricating grease on it prior to stamping the coin. The grease got into the groove on the die that makes the missing part of the R and thus it was omitted. They are fun finds but aren't really worth anything.
1936 ddo? Friends...I found this 1936 and when I see it on the computer I saw different things appear, then just looking at the coin with a naked eye.Appreciate your thoughts very much.As many types of Double Dye Errors there are..I am just a newbe at learning. LLGERTY or LEGERTY (When image expanded on Windows XP) I don't know how the G got in there? God Bless Beck, Kissimmee FL
