I was out playing Frisbee golf today, and bumped into a lady that was metal detecting. It turns out she has been in numismatics for 30+ years and is the treasurer of the local coin club. Just wondering if we have any other Coin Talkers from Maryland? I'm in Southern Md (Lexington Park)

I am from VA. As the crow flies, I am 30 miles from you... But it would be a 2 and 1/2 hour car ride.

Cool! I golf and fish at Pax River once in a while (when the bugs aren't too bad).

Very cool. Jarhead I was born in Bathesda, lived in TX (Arlington, Weatherford), and also lived in Okinawa (Camp Lester) as a bratt.

We go to Southern MD quite a bit. Point Lookout to name a few. Got a buddy that lives right on the Potomac.

Interesting. I lived in Okinawa (Camp Courtney) for 4 years back in the 80's. Grew up in Houston.

Anybody that has claimed MD residence should lose their cointalk rights if they intentionally skip the Baltimore Coin Show. It is a must!

Love it here. I was born in Bathesda but moved at a young age. I never thought I'd find a place that compared to Texas or N.C. Southern Maryland has a lot of water, and the people are very friendly.

Did you ever make it to Okuma? You must have lived there when the exchange rate was crazy. I heard you could buy T.V.s with a five dollar bill back then.
