This coin i have had for a while but finally got around to cataloging it. Armenia 1997 25000 Dram:- Goddess Anahit.
More Taiwan coins from my parents collection 1912 Ten Cash Unfortunately the coin is a bit too worn for me to properly identify it. And another one.
Super high relief.... Medal for 1999 visit of Pope John Paul II to the City of St. Louis. 49mm 61.8 grams... Gilt. Purchased at an estate auction for $1.00 (!) The portrait rises up nearly half an inch from the fields of the medal.
Nice score, especially the Louis Napoleon III crown. Most excellent deal at melt, just that one coin has to be worth $10 over at the very minimum.
True, but it's still the coin with the highest percentage premium above bullion value out of this lot. =)
Agreed. It has a pretty ugly rim ding that almost made me leave it behind. But, at melt? I had to find a home for it.
I agree, you did great. Man, I wish silver would come down some more. I miss the good old days of buying large group lots of foreign silver. I was just looking over some old groups I had bought, and pining for some more. I like keeping the lots as they came in the mail. That way, when I dig them out 5 years later I had forgotten about them, and its like getting them in the mail all over again!
