    and a 1 troy ounce silver bullion

    I also have 1979 uncirculated Susan B. Anthony dollars. 4 for each Denver Philadelphia and San Fran. I dont know if these are worth anything for them being uncirculated.

    I have an 1803 large cent but Cant get a good picture. Its in average condition. Any price ranges would be awesome.

    coinflation.com and go to the silver calculator and put in the #'s. ALSO you didnt have 1 mintmark coin? I suggest that you look up where to find mintmarks on these coins because some can be worth thousands of dollars even though they may melt for $10.

    Oh, I know I have some of more significant values but I just asked on melt values because if I started putting the mint marks people would start asking for pictures and I cant figure out how to get pictures without the bad reflections. Specifically, my 1889 is a CC. 1921 D 1899 O and two 1923 S.

    As for melt value, go plugin what you have on coinflation.com to get melt values, don't make us do all the work for you. ;)

    lol I'm sorry. I've just never heard of coinflation. I'll go check it out. I'm fairly new to coin collecting and am only 22 years old so I dont know much about the hobby. I just know I love it and am already extremely addicted. :yes:

    My favorite most prized coin is my 1889 CC. I thought I had a real 2 1/2 dollar gold indian head but some people on CT told me it was fake. I'm still not sure it is but I cant seem to get any clear pictures up. Oh boy how I would love for that to end up being real. lol

    Get some pics and re-post them or take to a local dealer to get authenticated.

    Easiest way to figure melt value is by the following formula:

    silver content x price for silver.

    Silver dollars= .77344 oz.
    Halves= .36169 oz.
    Quarters=.18084 oz.
    Dimes= .07234 oz.

    Current price of silver on the market= $27.86.

    Your dollars melt value is $21.55
    Halves are $10.08
    Quarters are $5.04
    Dimes are $2.02

    All of the silver dollars weigh the same? including the American Eagle Silver dollars? I'm just wondering because they are different sizes.

    No, Morgans and Peace are lighter than the American Silver Eagles. Their silver content range differently as well. I think what Buncirculated pointed out was just for the Morgan and Peace dollars.

    Yeah, I plan on it. I just need to do some research on going to the right place. I had went into our local coin dealer with five of my silver dollars, including my Carson City. I had given the impression that I was looking to sell them to see if he would be honest and tell me what the actual values were. He had tried offering me 20$ a piece for them insisting that their was nothing speacial about them. Once I told him that I knew what I had and I just did it to see if he was an honest dealer he almost completly proze and didnt have much to say besides he must have missed the mint mark. HES A DEALER!! I DONT AND CANT BELIEVE A DEALER COULD MISS A MINT MARK. Its his job!!

    ases are 1 oz of .999 silver, so their price is a $2-4(im pretty sure) premium over whatever the current price or silver is.

    Yup, easy calculation for the most part.

    # of ASE's x Current Price = Value

    The American Eagle Silvers are 1 oz bullions.

    Their value is the current spot price.

    Not retail.

  21. pumpkinpie

    pumpkinpie what is this I don*t even

    you have 43.72135 troy oz. of silver. Multiply this by the spot price and... Wallah! you have the melt value.
