Welcome to the forum coinpal. According to the Red Book: I read that to mean that the wide spacing is routine on proofs, but unusual on circulation coins. All of the ones flagged as "Wide AM" seem to be from the Philadelphia mint. No separate mintage numbers are given for the wides. My 2003 Red Book lists the regular coins at 10¢ in MS65, the proofs at $3-4, and the "wide" business strikes at $35. Chances are that those values have changed, but I have no idea whether it's been up or down, as the only liteside I collect are Walking Liberties.
My Red Book lists them like this-- 1998- $35 1999- $300 2000- $40 I don't think I would pay $300 for one because I have found them in change--spent them after that....but I guess some collectors would. Speedy

9 to 10 is it not....but I had just found them for fun and didn't want them for any collection so I just spent them... Speedy
Here is the best link on the subject: Wide AM Lincoln Cent LINK It's all there...pictures, history, and prices.
1993 wide AM I have a 2000 wide AM and was surpised to find that I also have an off-centre strike, wide AM on a 1993-D one cent coin. I've checked it over and over again vs other one cent coins and I'm convinced that it's legit. Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks!
I haven't. So, since this is an old thread, I suggest you start a new one titled 1993 WAM and post pics along with it.
That would be a remarkable find. Please take some GOOD pictures and start your own thread. Close-ups of the AM and FG will help.
